I've enabled GPT-5 in Copilot settings in the browser, but it's not showing up in VS Code. Anyone seeing it in VS Code yet?

There's an AI system checking for cat content in the submissions. I assume it's told not to accept lewd photos, but who knows.

What happens when black holes collide? Does one black hole “consume” the other? Do they become a larger black hole? Does it get more dense or just larger?

That's good to know. The Mail app shortcut keys don't make a lick of sense, but I don't mind that as much as the inability to zoom in on images in a message. No pinch and zoom on an image is diabolical in the MacOS ecosystem.

I have not used Thunderbird in 15 years, but I'm desperate for a decent email client. I've used Spark, Mailspring, Airmail...but I keep coming back to the MacOS Mail app. Any active users of Thunderbird who chose it over the defau

This is great SSH 'insurance' against timeouts for important processes. I'm trying to use it on MacOS as well, but it's a little buggy. The protection against 'nesting' alden sessions doesn't seem to work

I get to the part where I type in the file name, but the 'computer' restarts when I get like 3 letters in. Maybe there's a shortcut key associated with the restart function? No idea. Really cool emulator, though!

I couldn't reproduce this using the Infinite Mac browser tool shared in the article on Firefox, but it's a really cool find regardless. I wonder if Apple today would dare to include anything remotely this fun.

That watch is so nice. Can’t believe you got it for <$70. I always assumed automatic watches were much more expensive.

Do you have any recommended resources for buying mechanical watch clones on aliexpress? Im interested in grabbing something but would love to get an idea of where to find the best value before pulling the trigger on one.

I think OP was more interested in the ability to text search through the contents. This competition was great and some of the entries were really informative, but none of them included a full text search of the contents of all books.

Is it open source? Can anyone confirm that? What keeps it from changing in the future? I don’t have anything crazy sensitive, but I’m mindful of getting my info sold to advertisers.

It's honestly encouraging to see an educator thinking about solutions instead of wagging a finger at LLMs and technology and this new generation. Homework in its current form cannot exist AND be beneficial for the students -- educators

Obsidian is phenomenal. I only wish it were open source so I could self-host it. Sometimes I worry that they'd sell my notes data to advertisers.

I love my pi-hole but am surprised to see him recommending a $155 kit + keyboard, mouse, and monitor. My pi-hole runs on a Pi Zero 2W and connects via USB for power. The entire setup process happens over SSH and it cost me about $25. If som
