Except McDonalds cashiers don't get six figure salaries to decide the entire fate of your livelihood every time you order a burger.

In a perfect world all app devs would have 10 iPhones To be able to test across all different hardware. Of course, that would be ridiculous.

In this hypothetical scenario how could it possibly be a worse outcome compared to not attempting to support compatibility at all?

I'd suggest that the policies are pretty childish, and anyone who has worked with the App Store before knows full well how completely arbitrary and insane it is--this should come as no surprise. The Author of the article said it beauti

Coming from someone like Richard Branson this seems obnoxious. If it's so revolutionary why have you not implemented it in your workplace? As for the New Zealand study thats frequently cited as a 'success' it was only an 8 we

I believe the solution to the SE is the XR model. Apple thinks it's the phone for the "Every Man" except the every man doesn't have a 6 figure tech salary and thinks it's about $250 too greedy.

“There is an all-too-real possibility that other nations will attempt to leverage our actions in China in order to demand our compliance with their security demands.” He's absolutely spot on.

So? It's about the voltage lines. They aren't running low voltage lines to power the street lights.

This was the first thing that made me realise it wouldn't work for me also. I wonder if they'll be able to come up with a way to measure input force as a workaround

As a Developer I have massive respect for Epic Games here. And anyone thats developed apps for more than 5 minutes for the App store knows that the rules are completely arbitrary based on how big you are. The review team are much less hars

We've gotten by on MacOS for a long time with relatively decent Security - everyone always assumes that allowing side-loading on iOS will be a wave of viruses and malware. Apples pretty good at securing an OS, but allowing side loading

I'm a bit confused by this comment. Are you talking about Equifax and Transunion credit scores or is Credit Karma going above and beyond that in a way that i'm not aware of?

Its strange, we have a solid fibre connection in Thailand and have ~20mbit upstream to Singapore. It's not like we are in a shack on a mountain in Peru on a dialup modem. Slack is the only service we use thats ridiculously slow for us

FYI, I went through the same experience as you and returned it after discovering the non-touchbar model has one less fan. Apple clearly hates the customers who don't want to buy the touch bar model.

Adding to what others here have said, non-touchbar has one fan instead of two and runs hotter even at idle. Apple really doesn't want anyone to buy it.
