My friends and family won't :\ This will be true for a lot of people, and it's a huge annoyance. The only things that break this kind of network affect is a market changer - Discord is a good example here.

(I work in cell phone repair part time) Checkout the "lower end" iPhones like the 7/8 (wait for apple to release their new stuff in the fall first so it's price drops). They really aren't that slow compared to the n

I have a similar opinion of iPhones. It's sad that people only really look at the flagship models and go "WOWZER IPHONES COST 1200$?!" The iPhone 8+ is 700$ which is still inline with "Previous Generation Pricing",

Port 443 is special because it's dedicated to common encrypted web traffic (HTTPS) - so the port is always available are rarely tampered with. If the traffic is inspected it will resemble HTTPS traffic anyway. It's not detection p

My bad, I mean the ESP32/ESP8266 modules on their own don't have any LORA capabilities (The ESP32 has both Bluetooth BLE and Wifi, ESP8266 has just wifi). However LORA itself does work over P2P, and a common module is the ESP32 +

To me the problem is that it obscures the page URI, making it an unreliable source for exactly where you are. Whether this is a real concern for usual end users no I don't think so. It's mostly more annoying for the HN crowd who

Oh yes they can connect p2p. The ESP32/ESP8266 modules you see at 6$ don't have a lora module though, that's extra (but still a good combo) more like ~15$. I bought two with old screens and don't have any base stations.

You might be able to download it through steam. I grabbed most of the downloads from the website and have them in a resilio share here BBFPBUQ2TM7EKQIH3MVFPQWIRBLWVQEOO too if that helps.

Right but it'd be worse if you had the student loan debt AND don't get a degree (or at least a reputable one) because it's a scam.

I've seen a few lists like this [0] floating around. I'll warn you that even with a list, depending on which ports you scan you're still likely to get abuse complaints. Also port scanning can max out networking bandwidth, and

I can personally recommend Vultr, Linode, and DO for reliable VPS services. All of them have pretty competitive offerings, great support, and are just generally on top of things. You won't regret any of those hosts. The problem with th

Sorry I should've explained, warm water helps remove the gel afterwards. If you ever have a sleep study for example they place them all over your head and it's a little messy, warm water lets it wash right out.

Also to add, the water doesn't have to be hot enough to literally cook fish to be an issue - a big concern is how the different micro-organisms/plants/fish/etc react to the temperature change of there normal habitat.

You can still buy a 10$ sim card and use a burner phone. Potentially a free VOIP app would work too. It's not super scalable (that's why numbers are spoofed instead) but for a couple calls it'd be no problem.
