Yeah from my experience they'll run into problems real fast making 300req/s in 5 seconds. It's so "noisy" and potentially disruptive. I'm honestly surprised they weren't rate limited. I mean, your SPA woul

I just tested in chrome 77, and I could only do `chrome.runtime.sendMessage("clngdbkpkpeebahjckkjfobafhncgmne", {},{},console.log)` from within the Stylus extension page, not from an external page like hacker news.

Plus the "resolution" of the coast is limited by the size of humans. The coastline paradox is much more of a measurement problem then a physical one.

If you show that to non-programmers they'll take one look at that and understand that about as well as egyptian hieroglyphics. "Soup? Python? What's an 'id'? class? href? I just want to select the title!"

Detection is always a cat and mouse game. Using an extension in a real browser (instead of electron/headless chrome) is probably one of the hardest to detect because it requires running a "real" browser. Of course somebody wi

I was thinking the same thing. The only other thought was they were testing to see if our own procedures could detect the craft? But then I would have expected the crews who saw it to be quickly hushed - not publicly talking about it.

Given the rise of renewable energy - lithium batteries provide an alternative to fossil fuels. I have no clue how lithium mining + solar panels, etc vs fossil fuels compare environmentally though. But they are at least lowering fossil fuel

This sounds awesome to me actually! The biggest risk for me is lowering my full time hours, and that can limit my ability to try/find new opportunities. Being able to work on the weekends would be awesome - it wouldn't interfere w

I was wondering this yesterday too - Is it stealing if it's not for sale (so there is no lost revenue)? My gut reaction is that if Venezuela is apart of any of the international trade laws then it'd still be illegal but there'
