So are batteries the only viable storage solution? Does any other storage compare in terms of price and scale? (allowing a dollar value to be put on efficiency) If not I'd assume Tesla would be well positioned there, but I wonder if e

Aren't we only talking about a difference in term length then? i.e. it's more common for the term length to equal the amortization length in the U.S.? In Canada even the amortization/maturity can't be greater than 25 y

What you're describing is a fixed rate mortgage with a 5 year term. We may not allow 40 year terms, but that doesn't mean we don't allow fixed rate mortgages. After the term is up you can renegotiate a new fixed rate term i

Honestly I think it's easier to feel irrationally safe about a 0.2% chance, especially if you leave out the "per year". "500-year flood" at least emphasizes that it's not a question of "if", but &quo

Really? Getting rid of a few rarely used and deprecated APIs (for the first time EVER) in a 21-year-old ecosystem is enough to discount the value of those 21 years of backwards compatibility?

They've stated in the past that the reused rockets are offered at a 10% discount, of a launch price of around 60 million. But that's expected to widen considerably, for now there's basically no competition and they're s

Well Kitchener-Waterloo had the highest year-over-year house price increase in Canada in April/May (40% year over year), so I wouldn't call it "normal", but all signs point to the housing market in Ontario cooling if not

I wasn't saying that no JS support is hurting them. I was objecting to the notion that them being separate teams is relevant. It's perfectly reasonable to judge a product by how it is marketed.

What does it matter? If a website for a new router only supported Internet Explorer, I definitely would know either I'm not their target market, or they know nothing about that market, or they don't care.
