I used this technique in a project I'm working on extensively. This works great for server-side rendered projects, because you can just combine the HTML inside and the custom-tag in a partial, and re-use this partial like a default co

Not that much difference. You used to have to gather 4 musicians to form a band, pay for recording studio, record an lp, and tour to get your music out. This took years to get that sort of creativity out. Now you make a song on your laptop

You could have said the same thing about a synthesizer. Look how that revolutionised music. AI is just another tool. This is just the beginning. People will use these tools in extremely creative ways.

What are the reasons for your recommendations? One problem I might see is that it is even harder to spot a typo with this font.

Nobody said anyone was horrible. It's just that if a group is very dominantly male or female, you feel a bit like an outcast when you are the other sex joining in. Even if they are super welcoming, it's still feels a bit weird. A

If I'd start a non-profit organisation, I could ask the government for grants probably. Maybe start a system where people could lend their devices to the space, so they could earn some money on them long term. Depending of the initial

What a great (and much healthier alternative) to pubs. I live in a small house in a small city, and one thing I don't like about it is that I have no place to put bigger machines, like a table-saw, CNC router, plot-machine, etc... I&#x

You're one of the few. Most "pro"-users I know immediately go for 3rd party applications like Rectangle do have a better window-management setup. I never understood how Apple thinks this kind of window management is still OK

While I don't really like it myself, Tailwind is a good CSS framework for the age of component-based application design, where your JS / CSS / HTML lives in a single file, and your application-design won't change that he

As a webdesigner myself I kind of disagree. Simple content per screen just works better for the example they gave. It’s easier to visually parse. Their condensed version has a lot of multi column layouts which I really dislike. High content

It's not people's behaviour. It's the state of public transport. Lots of delays, dirty seats, crowded spaces, weird smells, hard noises, jerky movements etc etc etc. I'd be okay if the state would ban cars, and put all t

Yes, to a certain degree. But now we are in an obesity epidemic. It is just as bad as people smoking in the previous generations. Loads of people are MORBIDLY obese.

Opal without the software is not great at all. Very bad lighting. They should’ve had much better firmware instead of software imho.

The camera is good, but the execution is extremely un-Apple to me. It looks really not slick from a hardware stand of point. They don’t even have an official mount. Just put a good (AI) camera in the laptop.

I worked for 4 years intensively with RXJS. I love the concept, but it quickly becomes a mess in readability when trying to merge different data sources.

MacOs has VoiceOver built-in, which is free. The web is also quite accessible by default. I worked for the a11y branch of a big webapp, px fonts and such are not that big of a problem.

Haha, I love the “My IDE is so sluggish, it must be doing important stuff”. It really isn’t. IntelliJ is just horribly laggish. VSCode, an electron (!) app with 100 plugins isn’t even that slow.

A good test for me was this: ask someone to close their eyes and visualize an apple. Ask them what they experience. Some only 'see' the concept. Some only outlines. Some see black and white. Some see colors. Some see very specific
