It seems to me that they are trying to update the interfaces to look more similar with Google+ and make them pixel perfect across all their applications. That's why I think it is good to see all the apps change in a short time span, which m

I am glad they decided to clean up the interface, but I think they made it too bright. Just looking at it my eyes hurt, and the black navigation bar adds even more contrast. My favorite view is the WEEK view, but I've found it annoying that

With the amount of hacking that is flooding the news recently, I would like to learn about database security. What are some good books/tutorials/videos on how to make databases more secure?

I wonder why they don't put the wires and fibers underground. It is much safer and less prone to strong winds and other natural hazards. Is the cost of having underground wires that high?

Earthquakes are really hard (if not possible) to predict. At least so it was until now. I would never have thought that we will be able to predict earthquakes once, even if only a few hours before the hazardous event. Unfortunately, I don't

Stay tuned. The next I/O session will start soon. I wish they wrote how soon, 5 minutes, 1 hour? Edit: The breaks between sessions should be 15 minutes long. http://www.google.com/events/io/2011/sessions_schedule.html

I am glad they are testing making all the description (also website urls) in grey leaving only the title in blue. I've found it a bit hard to quickly glance through all the results with urls in green and additional links also in blue.

A) The layout is nice and clear. B) Center the page in the centre of the page, it will be much more balanced. C) Use colors and graphics. Now it looks dull. I could expand a lot on this, but it may be easier if you just look at the Facebook

I usually use this tool http://leftlogic.com/projects/entity-lookup/ when I need to look for special unicode character. You type your query like "arrow" and you get a display of what looks like an arrow. Really handy.
