I've yet to see any argument for why that would be, and your argument was that everyone was going to get it "sooner or later". At this point you're just conjecturing scenarios without an argument. The actual metric to co

The 4000+ extra COVID19 deaths they've had are years of life lost even if in the end the same number of people die. And their economic downturn was no better either.

Finland, Denmark and Norway had less excess deaths the whole year and much less COVID19. It's amazing how people keep trying to make Sweden out to be a success by comparing it favorably to the worst cases. Detailed source: https:/

Manufacturers could do a better job at making screen replacements easy, as that's what breaks a lot. Other than that, having software updates for a long time is a much more important missing piece on Android than this. For anyone that

Moore's law is still on pace but Dennard scaling has broken down for ~15 years now. That means we're not getting the same speedups as we were used to and that gets explained by "Moore's law has broken down" as a tit

I would have ordered an AMD Lenovo T14s if they hadn't artificially segmented it by not offering the 4K screen available on the Intel version. Hopefully AMD can increase the volume for these chips and more configurations show up.

20/20 vision is only average for the population when you get to 60. So most people here will see significantly better than that. At 20/20 1080p is probably enough. Most people will enjoy a 1440p screen and 2160p will have marginal

For a screen that you're placing in front of each eye, giving the total resolution actually sounds pretty appropriate. Particularly since although this is technically 1440 lines it only has as many pixels as 1080p resolution, which won

The screens are 1440x1440 and square format makes a lot of sense for this application. They're best described as 2MP instead of 2K.

I'm also from Portugal and know our stats well. We're not doing well, and haven't really done all that well in the past either. Comparing Sweden to their 3 immediate neighbors makes a lot more sense.

Yes, their numbers are very similar, in some cases better, to the places in Europe that had the worst outbreaks. Meanwhile their much more comparable neighboring countries have 5 to 10x better outcomes.
