I share the passion for feeds. IMHO the decision of whether a site exports feeds should not be just up to the owner. There should be a neutral transformation layer that translates any html to rss. Shameless plug [0]. Feel free to support it

As an intermediate solution you can use this feed [0] which is the result of rss-proxy [1]. [0] https://rssproxy.migor.org/api/feed?url=https%3A%2F%2Fnlp.st... [1] https://github.com/damoeb/rss-pro

Maybe my side project rss-proxy [0] might be interesting for you. It analyzes the dom and extracts the articles, so ideally you would not need to write a parser manually. [0] https://github.com/damoeb/rss-proxy

Hey everyone! I created `rss-proxy` that transforms any website into an RSS feed by analyzing the HTML structure. I love the idea of RSS, but many sites I was interested in stopped supporting feeds in general or did not provide a feed for t

News with its focus on recent fata only is quite weird concept, given its popularity. The implication that recent data is relevant totally ignores all the former news that would still be a relevant source of information.

I find news as a concept quite weird, since it implies recent data is important data, with all its side effects. There is a ton of old news, maybe even years, that did not loose relevance, but we simply ignore it.

This reminds me a bit of artists that complain that they can't live from it. IMO OSS is very similar to this, the salary for doing something you like is by definition pleasure or even fulfillment. But you have to play by the rules of t

Here is my personal experience after applying this method for more than a year. The crucial idea of the zettelkasten method is to contextualize knowledge instead of categorizig it. So its processing information instead of just storing it. H

As one that loves and RSS and hated that many websites don't offer them anymore, I created a middleware that transforms the static HTML of most websites to an RSS/Atom feed. Its just a proof-of-concept, but maybe you like it :) h

Recently i was working with some open-data data and i was in need for a tool that transforms those csv/jsons to something standardized, that i can run queries against and patch the data. Maybe this is a use case for dolt.
