It's been awhile so I don't remember the full specifics, but it was bundled with a specially configured version of Internet Explorer in a mode much like kiosk mode, but even more locked down. No right click menu, navigation, etc.

Wow. That's a blast from the past. NetObjects Fusion had some interesting features and ideas. My first non-intern job was with a company that did e-Learning materials. Our products were basically self-contained websites, with video con

Any details about the setup? I live in a suburb of a mid-sized city, but I can be in pretty dark skies in an hour or so. This seems like something that would be really neat to get into.

Yeah, this place is a lot like that. Movie Theater (actually the nicest theater in town) with a sushi bar in it, H&M, Barnes and Noble, etc. We're too small for an IKEA (the closest one's in Atlanta).

Imagine an indoor mini-golf course, but under black lights. With everything glowing strange neon colors. One section of it is in a different room, with no lights except a flashing strobe.

Meh. Around here, at least, (Huntsville, Alabama) they're just making newer and different malls. They're still malls though. When I first moved here in 2005, the bigger of the two malls in town (Madison Square Mall) had just recei

Another vote here for Hardcore History. Hands down one of the best podcasts out there right now. They're long - they're really more like audio books at this point - but just perfect for long car trips. Even if you don't think

You might want to have a look at this site in Firefox. I'm on Firefox 32 on Mac and the videos are grainy and blocky (like trying to watch satellite TV during a rain storm or a badly compressed JPEG). It's so bad I'm having a

The Roman Kingdom/Republic/Empire is a really fascinating period of ancient history. What's really mindblowing is when you realize that the Eastern (Byzantine) Empire didn't fall until 1453. If you're looking for in

That was poorly phrased. Let me see if I can do better. Simply being out late is not sufficient reason to be stopped or questioned for most people. It gives them a reason to stop and question people who are out late and may be up to no good
