Lot of people are taking this negatively, but I work from home and thought this was hilarious! Great piece of writing.

Seems interesting. Installed on Ubuntu 16.04 and keeps asking to update to 0.2.2 and hotkeys don't seem to work. Also crashed during a file search.

Not sure it's a comparable job. Working at a small office is Soma is a much better gig than Bart. You would definitely have to pay me at least 4x more to work there than a small office job.

This looks like a great project! Although the name pronounced in my head (for me at least) looks like "Eunuch" so slightly unfortunate (I see on the page it is pronounced unique, but just thought I would point that out).

This seems to be a somewhat baseless claim while using 3 open source projects as examples. Jira makes money off commercial licenses, and is a much more feature rich and productive tool for a large organization. If you can show me atlassian

While implementation details may be unnecessary, I feel like knowing how something performs for lookups, insertions, deletions, etc. is important. It definitely shouldn't be the end all be all of hiring, but it is definitely helpful da

Once you have the whole system figured out and setup then it seems to be that you have a lot more configuration options and control with eb vs heroku. There might be a steeper learning curve but once you jump the first few hurdles eb does m

Seems like there are a lot of use cases for this. Take a backcountry ski outfit. Set a few of these up on your trails. Sell videos to people you charter. A ski resort could even use them instead of hiring people to go out and take videos&#x

I think the point of the article is that you are not a beginner forever. You are a beginner when you know absolutely nothing about programming. After years of experience, no one should be an actual "beginner", by the authors stand

This seems like a great way to give employees a bit of a perk. An allowance could be used for technical books, and or other learning materials.
