My biggest beef in recent versions is the automatic use of generic built in skills. I hate it when I ask a simple question and it says "OK! Time to use the RESEARCHING_CRAZY_PROBLEM skill! I'll kickstart the 20 step process!"

My guess is either someone raised this internally and was told it was fine, or knew but didn't bother raising it since they knew they’d be blown off.

I am 10+ years into my career. I don’t think mgmt / entrepreneurship feels like the only sustainable path. But I believe I may become a manager of a 5-10 Claudes.

This seems to be a major source of confusion in these conversations. People do not seem to agree on the definition of vibe coding. A lot of debates seem to be between people who are using the term because it sounds cool and people who have

I agree that the primary feature of CSS is what people don't want from it anymore. If you're building your app with components (web components, react, etc), those become the unit of reuse. You don't need CSS to offer an addit

Some studies are better than others, and headlines / secondary sources don’t do enough to comment on this, but looking the source and having an opinion about their methodology, sample size, etc. can help a lot.

I've been thinking about this all day. I think the best approach is probably twofold: 1) Thrown errors should track the original error to retain its context. In JavaScript errors have a `cause` option which is perfect for this. You can

I dunno if I’d fall myself “enthusiastic” but I successfully use AI on a large production monorepo. The onus is on the user to break down the problem into llm-sized bites. How to do this effectively is a skill that takes time to develop. Yo
