You should have just given the money to the housekeeper. Than you would, presumably, have been less likely to renege to her face. Even more fun, make two sets of envelopes, one set of $10 bills and one set of $100 bills. The house keeper

You had to give money before you were able to receive money... Sorry, that seems like a classic pyramid scheme. Good that you stopped doing that.

I used to pop Rolaids for heartburn like crazy. I did this for years, until I was actually developing a toxic reaction to the Rolaids and I began trying other ways to control my heartburn. I finally discovered that sugar (and alcohol) were

I use name.com for quite a few domains. They have a very convenient way to do bulk changes, so you can, for example, select 50 domains at once, and tell name.com to change all of them to your name servers. They email you a few minutes lat

I agree that there is too much information here to stay anonymous from your boss. Instead, you could generate the histogram of the entire sample set, perhaps curve fit, so it's not obvious for small sample sizes, how many people contributed

Downvoted for the use of the term "protip". The arrogance conveyed in that single word drives my heartrate up 20%.

I cringed seeing the neighboring villagers trampling the same field that the elephants had been trampling. Talk about unintended consequences.

I wish I could downvote you twice. That he offered up the word "apparently", even with strong evidence of proof shows that he's being an objective reporter and a good scientist. I'm disheartened that this would earn somebody ridicule here.

Quick Revenue Idea: Make a website (IE6 Compatible, of course) that explains in tedious detail all the reasons a corporation should upgrade. There are real security issues that they should care about. Put this in the form of a white paper

We need a way to own our online persona's. We have one, it's called an email address at a domain that you registered. Unfortunately, we don't have an analogous mechanism for instant message traffic. Actually we do, it's called a jabber se

I'm having my review today and I am not making enough to live on. Every month, after mortgage on the house, modest car payment, and insurance for wife and two kids, I dip into savings to pay the bills. It's already too late to "plant the s

I have a request. Please add another alias, like ddg or duck. You're showing up as "im" in my buddies list, and frankly, that's not very informative to me. EDIT: Never mind, I guess I can rename you on my end.

I disagree. I use Octopart regularly. If something's hard to find, at least Octopart tells me where it's NOT at. One query, and I know 1/2 a dozen of the usual suspects that I don't need to bother searching. That's a big win for me. No
