AMD has notably cornered the console market with the Xbox One and Series X|S, PS4 and PS5. With the Steam Deck and now the Asus ROG Ally, they're starting to get themselves a position in the handheld market too.

To be fair there is a grain of truth to the joke. E.g. Cayley’s theorem is sort of like that — once you get it, it feels like it barely qualifies as a theorem, it’s just a natural consequence of the definitions involved.

Well, yes. That part is obvious enough. The interesting part is how you build the mapping from time domain to frequency domain. That is the part that never clicked for me.

Well, Proof Theory is a branch of maths in its own right, and Category Theory also has a definite "meta-proof-y" feel to it.

Greg Johnston, author of the Leptos framework, did a pretty good video about this a few weeks ago[0]. The TLDR is (of course): it depends. WASM has no native access to the DOM, so all DOM manipulations from wasm-land have to go through JS b

The thing that makes the heap expensive is the allocator calls. If you allocate a big vector once and never resize it, there's not much of a cost.

Police got a warrant and went to service it, Mullvad explained why it was pointless, police agreed and left without further incident. It's not "a huge disconnect", it's the system working exactly as I'd hope for.

Seeing as we're in the integer world, I'm not sure logs need to show up ever, there's probably a proof path around unique prime factorisations. E.g. it's more or less immediately obvious that n and m would need to share

When in that situation I tend to go ahead and factor out the similar code anyway. I almost never end up committing it, but it usually helps turn the "gut feeling" into a better understanding of the differences.
