I don't understand why people do not just speak like humans when it comes to marketing. Succinct and explicit. It is as if people are embarrassed to speak in simple terms and feel the need to big their product up with verbosity.

I assumed the Lytro device was a proof of concept for the technology so they could embed the technology in cell phones. I cannot fathom a billion dollar use case outside of cell phones.

I've always loved the concept but found the products so crappy (visually and UX) that I can't keep in the routine of using them.

You would be very very surprised at how common this is. Lots of people leave 50% thru vesting; it can be remarkably demoralizing if you're of the entrepreneurial mindset to work for four years in a large organization.

I have been very surprised at how much more I use mobile data on my iPad now that it is built in - it just seems like too many steps to activate a hotspot or dongle, whereas if "it just works" I love it.

I have over 150k songs scrobbled to Last.FM and have been a member since 2005. I actually can think of very few other services that I would care as much as if my Last.FM was compromised/deleted.

It'd be interesting you did demand delivery pricing, so that pricing became more expensive at peak times (eg: 8AM) that way you can manage the effect of everyone wanting their drink at the same time. You should start hyper local, one neighb

Quora is just damn useful. I actually struggle to think of many other b2c companies who are equally as useful and yet also fun to use. It's like Google Search (useful) combined with Tumblr (fun.)

Or Quora ignores dguaraglia's requests, continues their success (however you - or they - wish to measure it) as a private company and watches Hacker News whip itself into a frenzy about the financing climate?
