Why is it impossible to reduce color saturation on all apple products? I still like a slight hint of color context but don't want these CASINO looking MacOS and iOS experiences.

That key at the bottom of the article looks really cool. McElroy seems to be the manufacturer but I have not been able to locate one with the gold and cool little bird "icon".

I love this series. IMO, 4,6,7,8 and 9 all bleed immense character through graphics, audio and story. It's so good people will argue which is best and there's no wrong answer.

I had a customer offer me a pill once while touring his warehouse along with a stick of gum (said it kicks in faster). In about 15 minutes, I was shocked they give this stuff to kids. It's very close to meth.

Awesome, thanks for sharing your experience with it. I like what FUTO is doing.

Both of them came down in a pretty similar manner. Not to mention building 7 which was not directly hit.

We need a standard size and connection layout for smaller devices. Something with built in protection so the end users can be careless with them. I hope to one day see a few rectangular ones (Like old smart phones) and a few cylindrical (so

Every time this comes up I read most of the comments. The control we have lost is so important. I'm finally getting to the point where I almost don't care and move on from windows entirely.

I love this kind of stuff on HN. Maybe you could science a reason for its existence.

I'm a little bit late to the party here. The rp2040 is a great chip at a decent price point. However the internal ADC is quite bad for wide range readings. There's a few points around 512 / 1536 etc where it gets a "pers

IMO waiting might be the best strategy here. Personally I don't know anyone that's hyped about OS level local or cloud AI IRL. If MS can't even properly iterate a few hundred installed programs in a start menu search, does th

This is a very good point. A lot of purchases in tech are recommended from a friend or family member. From 95 - Windows 7, I could talk grandma through her problems without even being near a computer. Now the start menu can't even sear

With open core legacy patcher, there are quite a few of us enjoying 2012 and newer MacBooks that cost as little as $150.

Thanks for the reply. This makes me think of the dual slit experiment. Does the universe treat everything as a wave to save CPU cycles or something? If we think of light as little balls (at our size i think that would make sense). If we wer

I am confused. I thought photons were just visible light but I guess these little buggers are everywhere. Also very surprised voyager is using 2.3ghz, that's crazy saturated on earth due to wifi. How these engineers make this all work,

Yes. This is why they renamed "My Computer" to "This PC". It's finally here. It's been fun, I love windows but this is the end IMO.
