Does anyone else out there think Javascript `const` should really be called `final`? It more closely mimics Java's `final` keyword by preventing reassignment ("rebinding") of the variable, whereas `const` makes me think of fu

In what way is the "Maud" name appropriate? I mean, I like it, but your comment makes me wonder if there's more to it. All I can think of is that Tennyson poem... I guess it's been described as "ironic"!

Wouldn't use of the Payment Protocol address the blockchain scalability concern? Maybe the "Tip" button could really be a payment protocol URL or something along those lines.

I don't think the test is meaningless---it just doesn't mean what many people claim it means. It is one way of mapping people onto a 16-part space which, for half of people who take it, remains consistent across sittings of the te

I'm glad to see Jython make this progress. Unfortunately, it's still nearly 5 years behind Python itself---Python 2.7 was released in July 2010.[1] The leap to 2.7 is a huge deal, though, as that's the "gold standard&quo

What did everybody make of the benchmarks cited in the article? I couldn't really understand what they actually represented, or if I should put much stock in them. I was surprised that Rust didn't come out better in those.

This seems like a great platform for spam, so if it's to succeed long-term there will need to be good antispam tools. Seems like a cool development, though, and I hope it works out.
