In cases where a monopoly was given to them is because ISPs demanded it; otherwise they would not have entered the market and lot of folks would've had to go without Internet. So who's the bad guy again?

I can't be sure of what will happen, but I can tell you that ISPs want to control it now. There's something we can do about government, but very little about corporations (when they have a monopoly).

That claim is thrown out in the article, but as far I can see there's nothing to back it up. If anything it's the opposite. ISPs want to control and meter based on whatever rules they come up with (i.e. whatever increases their profits) whi

OK... then what do you say about having to aim for the bottom right corner in order to resize a window? Seems to me like whatever you gain from having an easy to aim menu system is negated by the difficulty of aiming the resize area. I'd ar

I don't think you should hide the answers, but you should definitely hide the ranking (votes) for about a day (or half a day) or so. During this stage the answers would be randomly sorted. After a day you get to see the votes for each answe

There are other things you need to learn beside what's in books, like how to live on your own, be responsible for your actions and so forth. Living away from the nest can be helpful in learning these things. I don't understand why this woul

Anybody know if there's a way to force an update via WiFi? If I go to 'about' and then 'system updates' no updates are listed. Also, how does the update process work if you don't have a data plan? Thanks.
