When I saw the title my first thought was a system like http://flattr.com/ which would monitor your tweets and then distribute your monthly $3 to the sites or persons. That way your donating that you have interest or a book that you have

There is buildr as well http://buildr.apache.org/ It is built on ruby and follows the Convention over Configuration route. Which keeps the build file quite small. It has hooks into maven and can be run on jruby or ruby

in the i's and !'s the periods tend to run together. at 10pt everything else looks great

Even after using linux command line for years it is always useful to see how others use it. I tend to overuse perl regex's to massage the data how I want it and underuse awk. my norm is cat file | perl -p -e "s/. from ([0-9\.]+) . /\1/g"

I have been looking into this area myself recently and this is great. My dataset is in the 300 - 500 item range and needing to include a full search engine seemed like overkill especially when I am already using redis. I will probably go
