It’s even more exhausting having products and services I like handicapped by regulation because an entire developed continent is unable to produce any competition to contribute to the industry. What are you even doing over there? It’s like

You could create your own products and services that would naturally drive competition in the market which would benefit the entire world instead of relying on someone else to do the hard work just so you can whine about how it’s done. Euro

The difference is that the US is the market where these companies are born and develop their innovation so it makes sense for regulation to be passed as needed. The EU is nothing but a leech. It could focus on actually creating competition

What does that have to do with the fact that EU produces virtually nothing relative to its size and economy in terms of tech? They wouldn't have to be constantly passing these knee-capping regulations if they had a competitive industry

Why do there need to be new customers? If you didn't like the product before, you can look elsewhere (or look within). Seems pretty messed up to ruin the experience for those who have been enjoying the products as is for years.

How many people do cops kill because they have guns and are trigger happy? If we remove their guns and their death rate goes up by less than the number of people they kill, that’s a net positive. Cop lives aren’t special. It should be a d

We’re talking about the same thing. Someone that joined as a new grad 5 years ago would be a millionaire today. If they had been selling along the way, maybe even wealthier than if they had held on till this moment. You are severely underes

It's amazing how one comment can have so much wrong with it. Long running showers? Downright hilarious. It doesn't rain a drop here 9 months out of the year. When it does, it barely qualifies as a sprinkle. You could walk outside

Cost of living in Pittsburgh may be 50% of San Francisco but that only matters if you’re spending every single cent you make. This is not the case on $200K. You are far better off in San Francisco. This is how “Californians” move to cheap c

This analogy doesn't hold up. A cheap new cure doesn't help those who struggled in the past but they can still cut me a fat check for the money I paid back and I will benefit from it all the same.
