They don’t claim to be a privacy wrapper for Bing; they claim to be a standalone search engine. But they aren’t. It’s 99% Bing and there’s nothing they can do about the results getting censored at the origin.

Regardless of what their CEO claims here every single time, if Bing cut off their access, DDG would be dead overnight. All the stuff they claim to do themselves is <1% of whatever value DDG provides. Lucky for them it’s just enough to be

Still cheaper than virtually every streaming service for equivalent plans. Max and Netflix are both $20/mo for 4K ad-free.

Call of Duty, Diablo, World of Warcraft, StarCraft, and Overwatch are some of the most popular games in the world. They may not be to your liking or mine but this is objectively not true.

I guess I’ll spell it out for you. An individual making $400K is rarer than a household making $400K so if the upper bound for a household is $250K, the individual upper bound is far lower, which is nowhere near $400K. The claim that someon

>It's 300k not 400k, I'll fix my comment. It's not $300K, it's $243K household income in San Francisco and $252K household income in San Jose in your own link and that's the upper bound of some arbitrary &quo

$400K/year is the 95th percentile individual income in the Bay Area. That's not middle class.

One of the most dislikable CEOs I can think of. He's clearly tilted from one guy making a better product than 2000 people under his leadership. How embarrassing it must be for everyone.

You're comparing your populace to drug addicts? Ok then. Producing (recreational) drugs isn't innovation. Drugs don't improve your daily life. Absence of them doesn't make life resemble that of the 1900s. They don't

How does Google disallow competition? China managed to overtake the top spot for social media so it's not impossible. Europe just can't build, period.

Europe would return to the dark ages if all American tech companies pulled out overnight. But it is a humorous thought that the only way there can be European alternatives is if there are no American companies to compete against. What is it

AFAIK, Apollo also has extensive moderator support (I'm not a mod so I can't speak to it but fairly confident it exists) but yeah, no iPad support which really sucks. I took a look at Boost and it's really nice! Looks extreme
