I understand that at first glance this has some appeal to web developers since it looks somewhat familiar to them. But have you actually tested this yourself? This is a seriously undermanned Google project, which at the same time is trying

According to Rossmann this can also happen if you drop the phone. In which case Apple is known to replace the screen but not fix the touch IC.

Remember "bendgate"? It turns out that while the bending may not be big enough to be permanent or visible it may still be enough to cause a chip to loosen from the PCB. Louis Rossmann has a great video on the subject edit: Rossman

I find this comment even more disturbing than your first one. What he said was fully reasonable, why do you doubt his ex-affiliation?

You comment makes zero sense. Apple themselves created an extremely complex chain of operations to avoid paying taxes, nobody forced them to do it.

You can't always choose who you can work with. And quite often bikeshedding comes from your boss. I found it more efficient to first make people familiar with the phenomena and when it happens in a meeting just tell them so. Surprising

It is important that we have a good discussion going on about this very important issue. I invite everyone to contribute to the talk page. But first, should we use TAB or SPACEs in the talk page?

I guess the point I wanted to make was that having proper generics in a language is very hard and whats why very few languages attempt to implement it. And people are still arguing whether generics in C++ do more harm than good (i.e. compli

Are generics really a requirement for a 2016 programming language? Take a look at the TIOBE index, how many of the top 50 languages have _proper_ generics support? http://www.tiobe.com/tiobe-index/ edit: not saying gen

Most people should write universal apps: modern language, modern tools, modern UI. If you don't like that there is always Qt.

It would be interesting to hear from people maintaining code that came from these startups. I suspect they would have a very very different view of things :) Maybe something investors should think about? Ehh, who am I kidding...
