uBlock Origin on Edge is a dream come true, but this port was not made by the original author. Who is "Nik Rolls" and why should I trust him with ALL my browsing data?

This is actually a good thing. It means Microsoft have the means to remove badly behaving extensions. And no, you don't need to sign in (on PC, on mobile you cant event start the phone without signing in)

Is emacs really that resource hungry? I started using emacs for writing C code on a machine with 1MB of memory. I feel that these complaints come mostly from people that have installed a ridiculous number of very inefficient plugins to make

There are actually quite a few tutorials on youtube that show how you can get a OSX-y UX by installing a few packages and themes on Ubuntu and Debian. I don't really understand the rationale, but hey whatever floats your boat

Microsoft already does that with Windows 10 [1]. They also let you run (almost) full desktop apps from the phone, including Office. This is extremely cool. The problem is, nobody really needs that. [1] http://www.microsoft.com&#x

I think parent is confusing the 10x engineer (which this guy obviously is) with a one-in-a-million engineer. Not to talk down Ramtin's achievements (I think his work is awesome), but hardware hacking is significantly easier these days
