The idea of an organization dedicated to removing sections of the bureaucracy reminds me of Netflix's "Chaos Monkey".

The two comments that frame this as an over-reaction to a helpful list of links have a valid point. But, for what it's worth, my first read of esolyt's post was that it was a terse reprimand for reposting, and in that mindset I definitely a

Whenever the Star Simpson incident comes up, I'm surprised how quick people are to blame her. From the accounts I've read, I don't thing she did anything wrong, or even suspicious. (Contrary to reports, the "suspicious substance" in her had

It's been a while since I used refine, but IIRC it just ran on localhost and I didn't have to upload anything.

I've had a hard time getting up in the morning all my life, and it was worse in the winters after moving to Portland. I ended up getting an earlier version of this gadget ( http://www.amazon.com/Philips-goLITE-BLU-Therapy-Device/dp/B... ),

I love the name they picked. "Open your mind to Kuato" The reference might not be quite obscure enough once the remake comes out though.

Sounds like they're not looking to bootstrap a business that would produce a return on investment. Instead of making a commercially viable game, they're talking about founding a platform and cultivating a market for sword fighting games.

Some of the comments here have gotten me thinking about access to test devices. I've never worked on android, so I don't know if installation of lots of unfinished software would be logistically sane, but what about meetup groups where loca

I think I agree with sunahsuh. When a system is stacked in a certain direction, appeals to personal responsibility can win battles but will lose the war. In the prisoner's dilemma, we can hope for mutual co-operation, but until the rules of

I love it. Any chance you would expand to more general "news" applications? The audio wouldn't be as good for syncing against, but I've always wanted an interface like this for watching protest videos.
