Totally agree - traction changes everything. Once you have proof that people actually want what you’re building, intros, investor replies, and even partnerships start to flow naturally. But early traction itself often needs a bit of capital

Fair point - resourcefulness absolutely matters, and I agree that building a startup requires persistence far beyond cold outreach. That said, I think the line between “resourcefulness” and “access” is thinner than it seems. A lot of early

That’s a really good point - investor scouts are often overlooked, but they’re usually the ones doing the early pipeline building and deal sourcing. Meeting them casually (coffee, events, even quick chats at coworking spaces) can open doors

Totally agree - accelerators and local founder meetups are underrated for building real investor relationships. Even a few genuine connections can open surprising doors. That said, I’ve seen a lot of early-stage founders outside major hubs

That’s a really fair point, building genuine relationships takes years, and warm intros are always going to have higher context and trust. But I’ve also noticed more founders (especially first-time or solo ones) who just don’t have that net

Totally agree — AI voice agents shine when they handle the repetitive stuff and free up humans for real conversations. The best results I’ve seen are from teams that don’t treat it as a full replacement, but as an assistant layer that filte

I built this after getting tired of messy spreadsheets - curious how you all keep track of investors right now?

That sounds rough-I’ve seen similar stories where a lead’s shifting priorities derailed the round. Out of curiosity, what do you think would’ve helped in hindsight? A more diversified syndicate, or just avoiding the ‘strategic’ angle altoge

Totally agree. Building in isolation feels like shouting into the void - you need real users to shape the product and sanity-check your assumptions. Community > solo grind.

I’ve had luck finding early-stage startups through a mix of places: HN “Who’s Hiring” threads (great for early opportunities straight from founders). AngelList / Wellfound for more structured job boards. Direct outreach - if you see a

This is such a fun idea - taking something like Tinder and turning it into a tiny act of daily love is oddly wholesome. I’d actually love to see some silly stats tracked, like 'Total swipes right' or 'Days streak'. Nice
