Cool idea. I'll add that. ...added. Will go out in next deploy.

Thanks for your feedback! A chat system might get a little ugly, but I like the rematch idea!

Just fixed the bug. I need to take it down for about a minute to deploy, so I'll deploy this when the traffic is lower.

OP here. The server's built in Go. I admit this is useless; I built this to explore WebSocket performance on a small VPS. Let me know if you have any questions.

I just downloaded this and went through a few lessons. Very well done! One feature request: a review mode that pulls from all completed lessons

That's pretty awesome. I hadn't seen it before. DataFart has the one advantage that you don't need to pipe the data in locally. If the source data is on your local machine, this is a much better solution.

Thanks! I assumed it was part of GNU. I made the change, but the page is cached, so it might take a while to update.

This wasn't really intended to share graphs. In addition to the name, each graph is deleted after 10 minutes.

That's a good idea. My immediate use case only involved whitespace delimited data, but I might as well just scan each line for numbers.

I agree. I think it's important to know Javascript as a language well, but there are very few cases when you'd be using Javascript without some abstraction from the DOM.

Was anyone else surprised by the performance penalty of jQuery? Over 400x hit for getElementsByTagName! I'm curious whether this is more due to cross browser checks or determining the what type of selector was used. To the source!

I love that their brand's credibility enables projects to launch that wouldn't have been able to otherwise. But, once a project far exceeds its launch goal Kickstarter becomes a store that charges 5%.

Is there anywhere you used {{{ in handlebars? This could be a real problem if people start inserting javascript.

Perhaps AJAX, but Amazon would probably like to support people without JS, so maybe they log the pageview when the browser requests the product image or something.

Interesting. I am a recent emacs convert, so I hadn't seen it used to run applications rather than as just a text editor. For this particular application I think an OSX app is a better solution, but I'm still intrigued by this approach.
