The targeting of ads on Facebook is complete garbage. But it seems to have improved in the sheer quantity. It wasn't even one to one, more so two ads for one bit of content from friends I actually was interesting. My usage went way dow

Please explain why I was downvoted? I'd actually like to hear why non upgradeable hardware with hardcoded ips are ok? Hell the equipment probably has hardcoded creds that are part of critical infrastructure too.

Well then a number of destinations on Google and bing need to upgrade their marketing because review sites and ecommerce site have it as Sony Vaio. As of late 2018. But what does it matter. Vaio was always an overpriced under equiped piece

It's amazing that netbooks are back in style again and it's made by Sony. The reboot of 80s and 90s are over, it's the aughts.

Hardcoded ipv4 non upgradeable devices should be trashed. They should be actively blocked or redirected to a site that offers quality hardware (Cisco need not apply)

I ran into a similar issue. I had 1100 dollars in an account secured by authenticator and did not save the recovery codes when I set it up. I had to jump through hoops to get it back, which is good. But I didnt realize I would have to reset

Not intentionally ignore it by going out of their way to override it, just not be required to implement a feature to their crawler. Apparently parsing those sounds tricky with edge cases. Ignoring that file is absolutely on the table. Peopl

Techies forget the rule of laws. A dos has intent. A bot crawling a poorly designed website accidentally causing the site owners problems does not have malicious intent. They can choose to block the offender just like a restaurant can refus

Honestly that is the site owners problem. If it can be found by a person it's fair. I genuinely respect the concept of courtesy but I don't expect it. People can seek courtesy but they should have expectations of whether or not it

This might be controversial but everything is fair game everywhere. If you can crawl it, tough luck. It's there and everyone can get to it anyways, why not a crawler?

The tech industry has a bit of habit over emphasizing their importance. In reality they have much less clout than they like to think. Techies expect the world to bend over backwards because they make money. A decent chunk of that is basical
