I thought you were joking about this but they are still selling 3 different pencils. At least one has been retired. But Jesus what a mess of a lineup. I'm assuming/wishing/hoping they are going to get to Good Pencil and Great

I love the Magic Keyboard's usefulness despite how crappy the durability is for such a high-priced accessory. I also have the Smart Keyboard Folio and like it will enough but the angles it sits at aren't what I prefer and I really

This person is almost certainly firmly and vocally in the camp of “The iPad hardware is wasted because of the software.” Then they extrapolate from this, “If you buy an iPad Pro you are just doing it to flex.”

I bought the iPad Pro in 2020 (13”, last on the A series of chips) and the screen is so much nicer than on any iPad I’ve ever used before. I was planning to buy a new one this year if there’s a notable release but OK with waiting another ye

Not sure how to answer that because I’ve always had enough money and enough free time since I was 25 or so. I’m 40ish now and that’s not because I earn a ton but because I don’t need a ton and don’t dream about having a ton of money. I’ve b

Does it matter? Personally I love it when I see people dismiss AI as a “stochastic parrot” or whatever other snarky phrase is currently popular on HN. I just keep getting tons of value out of AI and am more productive than I ever have been

Curious if you inject insulin yourself? I’m Type 1 diabetic and have been injecting for 10+ years now. I really see a tool like this being useful for newly diagnosed and/or younger diabetics, particularly if you add a visual component.

No, it’s not a dumb argument. “They” are Apple. About 40 years of history tells us that whatever dork-dream of openness isn’t happening on products Apple releases.

I agree with the idea that the market that this will be sold to is people who believe they will benefit from CGM data. My point is that CGM data is very very very unlikely to change behavior in the overwhelming majority of people.
