The problem with offering car tech is that manufacturers won't want it. They hate the thought of automotive technology being commoditized. If they all use the same underlying technology, then there's less opportunity to differenti

I asked it a question and unrelatedly it started talking about 500 errors. I'm guessing under the covers it made a failed request and thought the error code was the answer.

In the case of the Panthers "Carolina" refers to both states, which is why the logo is the combined outline of North Carolina and South Carolina. Seems like a smart way to lay a claim to a bigger market rather than being tied to a

Duplo seems much more in the spirit of Lego sets from the '80s. Builds used fewer, but larger pieces. I enjoyed playing with the older sets because you could tear them apart and put them back together much more easily. Newer sets look

From a developer standpoint, I enjoy being able to look at the JWT and reason about its meaning without having direct access to the underlying session database, e.g. what user is this and when was it issued. I understand that it's not

Very nice. Guitar tuner apps are one of those things that should be really basic, but popular ones tend to get more bloated over time as they try to monetize it. You can buy a hardware tuner for what some apps charge.

I don't think driving a truck means that you're necessarily against EVs. The Rivian is proof that truck buyers do want EVs. Ultimately a truck has to provide utility. The Lightning just doesn't offer enough utility for the pr

This is fantastic. There must be some variation of Zawinski's Law that explains the flaming dumpster that apps/sites like UG turn into. I feel like MuseScore is going in that direction too. I was hoping by now we would have solved

I had the Maxis game El-fish, and the part of the game where you'd breed fish was almost unplayable on a 486SX because the SX lacked a math coprocessor. I wanted a math coprocessor, but as a kid in pre-internet times, I had no clue how

I do wonder if the problem lies with the banks or with the amount of federal regulation that makes certain customers unattractive. I had a small business bank account, and one day I got a call from the bank asking to go through my transacti
