The only things I've been denied as an EU citizen on the web so far have been US local news websites. And tbh I assume that is just one company that has a blanken policy of sorts. So I don't think "often" is accurate her

Facebook itself is very aggressive about the one account thing. But Instagram is not. It's common enough within my friend group to have multiple accounts, and bots are also kinda common.

This did not work for me at all. I tried my own voice and it just made me sound like a young American instead of my actual Irish accent. I almost sounded like Microsoft Sam in both samples.

The last time I flew through Dublin airport I got from my taxi to my gate in 16 minutes including checking in a bag. I had arrived 3 hours early nonetheless due to the "chaotic" queue times I had read about.

I'm just scared that internet bots are gonna get really, really good. Every comment on Reddit will be fake, every match on Tinder will be a really realistic bot, etc. But I guess they won't be using ChatGPT, just LLMs in general.

Berlin currently has a 29 € ticket which is much more interesting if you don't travel the rest of Germany often. Hopefully it gets extended beyond April.

Apple Pay on the web has made this very convenient. Being able to buy something with just a single button is amazing. Unfortunately it's not available for large swathes of potential customers since it's iOS/macOS only.

I think it's slightly weird UI/UX to show the password prompt if FaceID will just instantly unlock the phone anyway (at least when not wearing a mask).

It is reset every time MacOS updates. Quite annoying but you can just set it again.
