You are not automatically a public servant if you are funded by taxes. In my definition that only happens when you start making decision that affect other people. E.g. handle who gets a tax cut, go to jail, or other things that we need to

You can't use device verification in production anyways. (ATM) This has no effect, is it even used in production anywhere? It seems to be part of eIDAS which is a good thing, most countries already have their own identity systems as is

Being such a person that fixes lots of stuff for other people nothing I do is secret but learning to do it seems too hard for most. What I do is try to delegate if I find people that do want to learn. If someone shows me they are good at so

You have four 12 bit values, they are packed into 6 bytes. Camera image formats are different but I am guessing this is probably MIPI RAW12? EDIT: You have the code in the repo. https://github.com/tlambertz/goodix-finge

Hens live in cages the size of a piece of paper (A4/letter), they are kept there for 2 years. Very small percentage of them live in better circumstances. What leaves a bad taste is calling that "humanely hatched". EDIT: Appar

Just bitcoin uses more energy than Finland, the energy sector in Finland makes lots of people rich. Of course people will earn money when people spend that amount of resources on something.

I have switched to smiling at things people do well in traffic and trying to give positive reinforcement when I see people who care about others. Some even do it in ways that might seem stupid, e.g a guy in the wrong side of the street was

You do NOT save passwords in shell history, it is insanely insecure. Lets begin with the passwords being readable by everything that can list tasks. You can protect passwords in a password manager. You do not need to keep the passwords in e

Bad example. Dumping waste cheaply illegally is a trench that is continuously filled with really bad stuff. Regulations needs more Oumph, it is just too cheap to do in an dishonest way.

Not sure if you have some idea on how, but it feels like an unsolved problem to me. E.g. It is easy to theme a data structure, but if the layout matters it can be very hard to theme while also allowing free form edits.

While funny, naivity to power dynamics is constant. We never know who will rule. I even conservatives are extremely lured by revolution if they have a leader that is more "conservative" than the opposition.
