It is time that matters 15km can easily be 30 min on a regular Bike a commute is considered too long when it is above an hour. It is not length but how secure you feel and how fast you can peddle. We should strive to make bicycle infrastruc

In the loop community (CGM+insuling pump) you usually have a list of phones that work well with Bluetooth. Yes that changes when the phones get new powersaving settings and driver updates, usually it works well on good phones.

Call it malice or ignorance, it is hard to tell. I have personally visited someone who did not get insulin for a whole night in jail, ended up with extremly high blood sugar (DKA) (s)he had to be hospitilized for three days. There were no p

No it never gets in the way. I would not recommend doing it unless you are a diabetic, the results are not that interesting. It took me two years to get used to smacking that needle into the upper arm/stomach/leg, spending up to 2

That problem is social you can never be sure of that even with hardware signing of commits. No tech can ever solve that. Just get "pull requests" from contributors you know and pull from maintainers you trust. Is the social model.

Incompetance, and a need to promote yourself. When you want to execute on something the people who are moderately successful just execute and do not think. Thinking means you will do less stuff and that lowers your productivity.

The same has been said about VS code. I.e it is just a husk that you need to modify to something useful. This makes them useless to many. Sane defaults is important and should be there.

FWIW I have had luck mailing old research emails, I read my 20 year old university email. It is one of the best signal to noise ratios in communications I have. I would not mail if it is only about unintialized variables.

The usual way is to require a custom CA for all clients, sounds like an ineffective setup if you can just ignore it. I.e. it should be a intermediate certificate for the proxy you need to acknowledge.

What is so special about insulation for heatpumps? You need that insulation anyways. EDIT: ok so the best interpretation I have is that it has just been so cheap with gas that people have not bothered insulating their houses.
