   i can tell you the reason this happens at shitty, small developers making low budget games: designers. i wouldn't presume to comment beyond that though.

   i worked at home and cared for a four year old. it sucked. in fact, i avoided it as much as possible. didn't work for me, but it might work for some.

   "All are bad English, i have no doubt whatsoever, that all would be understood by a speaker of "AAVE"" but they'd all be perfectly well understood by a speaker of "english" as well. so then "english" isn't a language. fascinating stuff.
