I believe Sam avoids using anything that's super awful to deal with. There's well defined procedures for taking care of most chemicals that involve neutralizing them sufficiently to be flushed down the drain

I own a bottle of this stuff, and it's not really as amazingly black as it looks on camera. Sure, it's pretty damn black. But it's easy to see the imperfections and stuff up close. There was a video that compared it to black

There are already pretty advanced methods for crime detection like that one thing where they show pictures of various objects while measuring brain activity to determine if you've seen the specific object before. Not sure if that tech
