Care to include any examples? You wrote a long winded rant without any substance. I took a look around the http://www.npr.org/sections/news/ and didn't find anything that came close to your straw man. Meanwhile your characterization o

I normally have no issue with someone using an affiliate tag to link to a book. Generally if they give an honest recommendation I think they deserve the affiliate bonus for the effort. The author of this "blog post" on the other hand did n

About the only ad that would get me to scan a QR code would be the promise of an explicit coupon code/discount. My memory fogged up since so much time has passed, but last time I scanned a QR code I ended up on some fast food company's hom

Google's recalcitrance appears to stem from two issues: one is that Honeycomb is specifically designed for large-screen devices and Google is concerned that, if released, it would find its way onto unsuitable form factors; the other, hinte

Congratulations on so many users. I'm on the verge of giving my 2 weeks notice to strike out on my own. Am I naive to think "All I need to be sustainable is 100 paying users"? Did you have a portion of those 1,500 users lined up before yo

Again, I think I must be missing something. If you hit Play and don't touch the mouse you see the same exact animations as if you flew in a big arc at full speed. You control nothing more than a camera angle with a glowing avatar.

I don't see people reacting as harshly if it was someone like Jack Valenti that RMS said some unkind posthumous words about. Steve Jobs did embody the lock down of computing. I'd say Valenti and Jobs belong to the same category of protect
