The article only lists a few species however I seem to see this feature all the time among trees not listed on the article's list.

I have struggled to use Elm because I rarely if ever need what it offers in my personal projects and at work we are a Lit shop. Love CLJS though, I use that sometimes for personal work when I have an urge to lisp.

Love the use of functions to craft components. Such an undervalued way of writing a UI.

I think your cynicism is warranted for you. Like if you're not looking for a new framework and you are interested in the new, shiny JS refactor, don't bother. I live a happy life, using the same framework and never looking at all

At has been echoed in the article and in the comments, so many people are different. I write and run software in my head long before it gets into a text file. This is very mental work but I could do it at the Super Bowl successfully. I zone

I've read plenty of accounts (in these comment are some even) that suggest merely the owning of a TV will get you slapped with this tax.

Always boggled my mind that in the UK there is a tax on owning a television.

No bids in my area or close to me. Also interesting I had to scroll/zoom to my location, the box did not know my address.

I have Starlink and live an hour from town in a national forest. If I did not have Starlink I would have no choice but to move. It is the only option for rural internet when you need bandwidth and data plans that permit daily video meetings

I'd love to hear about these. I joined that startup because I wanted to be a part of the alt-ag world, I left because I found out I was just part of the stoner world.

The company I worked for had three "core" child companies. A consumer online store, brick and mortar stores, and a "we don't respond to your emails unless you're talking six figures per transaction". Even the a

I worked for a hydroponic tech startup, in no world is it cost effective if you're a large company. Small scale in a basement or backyard, yes, but this stuff doesn't scale, largely because it's priced for the marijuana indus

It sounds like this author wanted to recommend web-components but doesn't know they exist. This is exactly what web-comps solve, writing custom HTML elements that are interacted with like native ones, in native HTML.

Just because every other company in Sweden accepts extortion as part and parcel of doing business does not make extortion okay.

Especially for US investors I suspect. That this is legal and seems to be at least partially government led, is absolutely mind boggling to me.

There isn't much to elaborate on. We are not hard up for COBOL or RPG devs, I'm sure some municipalities are but they are probably hard up for anyone who has the skills to make six figures. COBOL is used still for far more reasons
