Numpy was a huge boon in college. I had mostly gotten my homework process down to editing a LaTeX file with the csv files for my datasets and then when I compiled it would first crunch the numbers with Numpy, export it as Tex, and then buil

So it is a tiling wm with eye tracking and a database for a file system? Seems a lot less sexy when you put it that way. I also see this being very frustrating to use!

I rescue reptiles as a hobby. US and state laws, as well as just common sense (ie wrong biome) dictate that it is illegal to release reptiles back into the wild after they have been in captivity, my state has set a period of four weeks, afte

The mouse is the least ergonomic input device. I have a trackball which is mildly better. Until someone develops a pointing device that doesn't cause rsi I will stick to tiling wms and terminals. I am also an order of magnitude faster

"US" is a bit of a broad term. I have never even experienced an earthquake, so I would say there is a decent portion of the US that has no need for such, likely expensive, renovations. Almost wonder if this it a puff piece like th

Our bottle neck is often pid 1 for boot time. We don't do mem check on boot so that saves us 1 second * Gb_of_RAM in boot, which is why most BIOS take forever on a server. We also don't run anything in PCI slots so we have the PCI
