I like how you are using simple guesstimates to show how viable herd immunity is. Following on from this: 600,000 people in Stockholm to be infected in, say, 120 days = 5000 new infections per day with, say, 1% hospitalisation

I couldn’t get tested so not 100% In Bavaria they are only testing people with symptoms and the positive rate is around 10% [1]. Everybody thinks they have it but the symptoms could also be down to a cold. I am not pointing this statistic

Even some sort of tried-and-true algorithm to direct me would be nice. I actually heard about this recently -- you throw out everything you haven't used in the last year.

As someone who has been failing on side projects for over 20 years, I feel qualified to answer this question. - Have one private repository for random projects - Work in private repositories for random projects that progress. -

I think this would depend on the application. Its possibly a problem in a parser of large data, but in a network protocol or business rule its not going make any difference at all.

I am not a fan of the hoverbear state machine pattern. I find that it makes simple things complicated and hard things impossible. I used it and I had problems with: - Reusing code between states. - Making callbacks to other APIs durin

Are there any anecdotal stories about how Rust programs have fewer errors? My hobby projects are in Rust and Go. Its personal taste, but I prefer programming in Go. I actively dislike programming in Rust. In Go, I usually I start a debugg

Also cheaper by plane. Being a student with a limited budget, this very much affects my decision. My tips would be: * Book at least a week in advance. * Buy a Bahn Card 25. * Get up early. If you do this Berlin -> Munich is €44.90 next

I don't agree with your definition of simplicity. I like Go and I consider it a simple language because: 1. I can keep most of the language in my head and I don't hit productivity pauses where I have to look something up. 2. There
