It is strange. I take the Trader Joe’s brand as well and even half of a 500mcg pill is enough for me, and sometimes feels as effective as a a 3mg of 5mg pill from a different brand. Not sure what to make of it, other than maybe all I need i

True, I’m up to 20k in my gmail red dot. It’s a big reason I’m desensitized to it now, and I currently have lots of red bubbles on my home screen that I’m too lazy to deal with (and usually social apps that I would t otherwise consider dele

Looks like I’d have to do a ton of scrolling to see the amount of info that the old gmail shows me. Everything is too spaced out for me ;(

Awesome, I didn't realize you did an interview! I have a ton of respect for the high standards you've been maintaining with data quality, keep it up.

This article is placing so much emphasis on voice interfaces as the replacement for screens, but I can't imagine that happening for more than a handful of use cases. Maybe I'm an outlier, but I would never use a voice assistant in

I spend most of my workday in a zero-gravity chair - I got a leather one off craigslist, but the cheap patio versions are just as comfortable (you can find a bunch on amazon). I have a monitor mounted above me and a keyboard in my lap, and

Haha I just noticed your username could be a reference too. And thanks, that's awesome to hear! A lot of parts of the app are definitely a work in progress, and its tough to make appealing looking meal plans that also consistently hit

Thanks for the mention - I started ETM with a similar goal in mind. We have a "personalize this recipe" function that's functionally similar to forking, but we never expanded on it much. We're planning to improve the soc

Yeah I'm pretty bummed about this. Are there any similar locally-run apps that make it easy to get graphs from your SQL queries? I've seen a few SaaS apps like Periscope that do similar, but I'm not a fan of letting other com

Do you still make updates for recipe labs? I remember being pretty blown away by how much stuff you managed to cram in there, and it was a big inspiration for me when I started building EatThisMuch. We're still dragging our feet on cre

Same - I'm actually starting the process of switching over the Gusto simply because I wanted to consolidate the services I was using, but now I'm having second thoughts since Zenefits is free. So far I much prefer the Gusto/z

I did almost the exact same thing! The Zero gravity chair is one of the best investments I've ever made. But instead of attaching the monitor to a desk, I attached it to a heavy duty kitchen cart, and it's weighed down by a deskto

Anyone have any thoughts on DRF vs Tastypie? I've been using tastypie for the past few months in a project and I'm kindof regretting it - I'm finding some of the design decisions hard to understand and not super well document

I agree that the argument is pretty weak. Even if it mapping is complicated and hard to scale, I think that cities themselves would go to great lengths to make their roads compatible with self driving cars. Cities could fund the mapping the

Very cool car, very poor quality article. It reads like it was written by a syndication algorithm that throws in weirdly subjective statements at the end of every paragraph. Here's a slightly better one with a video: http://

In your example, I'd argue that hip hop is a more dominating segment of music than comics are of books. Maybe a book store called "Novel" that sold all kinds of books, which sounds less far fetched for some reason.
