It was a honest question, I was curious if, using JRuby, I could use ActiveRecord as an ORM instead of Sequel. I am not challenging any preference towards Sequel.

It's been years since I investigated it but isn't ActiveRecord running in JRuby these days?

Carroll's latest book "Quanta and Fields: The Biggest Ideas in the Universe" is about all this quantum field theory, and I think it perfectly covers the gap between pop-sci and academic material for people with some math expo

It seems they took a cue from Arc for the pinned tabs icons. Now they only need to add tab groups a la Tab Stash, Sideberry or Tree Style Tab, and combine that with Sync. Still a lot of work ahead, but this looks very promising. Kudos to

Also, it's not like someone is going to be requesting to add emojis to these reports. It's clean, human-readable, it looks like it should not be difficult to parse if the case needed... so why change it?

Yes, this is a good summary of the situation. As a matter of fact, I guess there were quite a lot of systems and services that went down even though they were not using Crowdstrike themselves, but some part of their cloud supply chain was.

This is a good writeup, but to be fair it's just not a matter of banking regulations. Basically all big companies are under similar obligations regarding endpoint protection.

I think this is the correct move. The correct one (and I'm not sure if this is feasible) would be integrating the OS level LLM facilities. AS an independent browser vendor, trying to chase the AI trend mirage is like trying to empty
