This belongs on r/conspiracy not HN. Also, I am surprised about the hatred Bill Gates is receiving (despite spending billions of his own money on fighting Corona and other diseases). Could someone please explain why?

I encourage every one to read the doctors post, it has tons of interesting information in it. Here are some extracts: "Basically, if you have a bilateral pneumonia with normal to low WBC, lymphopenia, normal procalcitonin, elevated CRP

But if you downvote anything that is not compatible with your own experience, where does that leave us? To answer your other questions: this was not the first time and there are others here expressing similar issues. Teams works reasonably

But your flawless experience does not help me. I had a horrible meeting today (not the first time, but today was particularly bad). In fact, I recorded part of it with my phone and tomorrow I Will have a chat with our IT people to ask peopl

NetGuard is fantastic, but is there a way to automatically disable trackings sites without selecting them manually for every app? It could for example use the ublock lists for automated blocking of all known trackers.

The hackers could bypass 2FA, see my other comment. It was silently fixed by apple once the story hit the mainstream news.

The vulnerabilities that opened iCloud to these attacks were due to its iPhone integration (restoring device from backup to be more specific). It also allowed the attacker to bypass 2FA (probably in the name of user experience).

Does it matter? The data is out, and while the attack surface was not the iphone itself it was a service closely connected to it.

I think the "fragmentation" in Android land is actually helping security. It's not economical to maintain hundreds of exploits for different vendors, CPU architectures and OS and patch versions. For iOS, you need 2-3 up to da

Counterpoint: a bunch of bored teenagers hacked every single iPhone in Hollywood just to get some celebrity nudes. I don't believe in "hardened Android" either, unless it's developed and maintained by nsa or gchq.

What the sel4 people have achieved is to separate a very small part of the OS and verify it (supposedly - there are some arguments over this). But is the entire system secure if you use sel4? Not necessarily. I fact it may be less secure

Do you guys remember when Engadget made fun of Galaxy note, claiming 5" was just too big? Remember the imore folks making thumb-reach illustrations that showed the 3.5" iPhone had the optimal size and Galaxy note was just useless?
