   AIS is for traffic control mostly. What you are really looking for is an EPIRB http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distress_radiobeacon#EPIRBs_.28... It is standard equipment on an oceangoing boat.

   The problem is, "this isn't pretty" is pretty much all we've got. There is very little information on how to organize javascript apps, or how to write javascript at all. Nobody knows the solution yet. Most of the stuff on javascript program
