I use the latest versions with native compilation and gave up on terminals and curses codes in favor of plain M-x shells. I tend to accumulate hundreds of buffers, some of them GB size, and all is super snappy. I am very sensitive to laten

The reason you can’t do it is because JavaScript is Turing complete (like postscript, but unlike HTML) and JS needs to load from the network. This does not happen with postscript. There is no comparison to postscript that is meaningful in m

At worst, postscript can crash your printer or take up a lot of cpu. There are no networking libraries or access to system stuff for postscript. So it should be safe for all practical purposes assuming you don’t care about the possible in

Not sure what you mean here. The formal role of RMS in FSF today is not that of a leader (nor president, nor treasury.)

I’m working in a related area and I’m rather curious about this point. In what way is GPT-4 overfit? Does overfit in this context mean the conventional: validation loss went up with additional training, or something special?

For comparison GPT-4 provides the following Python regex and then warns that it does not catch all edge cases and that it’s better to use a dedicated library like email-validator: email_pattern = r"^(?=.{1,256})(?=.{1,64}@.{1,255}$)(?=
