I think what makes me the most sad is that this method removes the joy and cultural bonds when one cooks and breaks bread with others. Eating a meal and talking about life with others are things I consdier the most precious of them all.

hmm.. for US labels, it already is kCalories per serving size with serving size listed.. but yea there is no kCalories per 100g/100mL

That's true, but at least personally the only two I know of are Dandelion in SF and Choco Vivo. Others with 'bean to bar' have somewhat of a questionable reputation.
