Don't try to paint yourself as the good guy, Peter Vessenes. You may be able to bamboozle someone who is not familiar with the process but not me. The "option for an early payout" is not something to be proud of. Your company

If by "these people" you mean the "googlers", yes, I'm one of them too and I think the same applies to most developers so I know how to approach harder problems. However, I was curious about the employer's pers

Well, given a choice between the 2 hypotheses: 1. Lots of people with lots of time on their hands did something that we'd be currently hard pressed to do but no one has really tried yet. OR 2. Two aliens land on Earth and one of them s

Half of those predictions read like "the thing that is a trend now, will continue to be a trend". I can be a prophet too - Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple and Microsoft are not going to be displaced in the next decade.

My point is that there are couple of problems/unknowns with UBI: 1. Where do we get the money from? 2. What will be the long term effects of UBI and does it constitute progress compared to the current system. I have no idea whether the

You're mixing tax policy (land rent) with tax income distribution policy (UBI). I think property taxation should be improved and Geolib is one way to do it. However, if we assume that Geolib is the optimal taxation policy, by no mean
