They initially proposed changes that were retroactive, potentially leading to fees for released, unmaintained games. I just don't see how anyone can trust them after that.

Definitely interesting, but the author has no idea what a "blind" test is.

You can pay with Bitcoin. I assume it's possible to create a Bitcoin wallet and fund it with Monero so it has no link to you?

Ah, I have a Pixel phone but have been using a third-party launcher for so long that I don't even know what the default looks like anymore.

I've had third party cookies disabled for years. I can't remember the last time a website broke as a result.

Profiles are amazing. I have a personal Firefox profile and a work one, and keep a browser open for each, with no account mixing. It's great. I can also make the opposite argument for extensions. One of my most-used extensions, tree-st

I've been using Android since the G1. I don't think I've ever had the search bar on the home screen for more than a couple minutes after getting a new phone. My in-app web views are also in Firefox. I'm pretty sure just

There are workarounds. You could, for example, have a drop implementation spawn a task to do the I/O and exit. Also, if your cleanup takes parameters, you can just store them in the struct.

Unrelated to VanMoof, my bike has a battery that goes on top of the rack. The battery includes a key, and locks to the bike. To charge it, I usually just leave it on the bike, but you can fairly easily unlock it from the bike and change it

I don't have extensive experience with Go, but for the bit that I was maintaining a production Go service, I had a Go version update break things at least once.

It even shows that message if I request the desktop site. I don't care if it works well on mobile, just show render something so I can kind of play with it.

I just noticed you advertise a real-time sync with slack/discord, so that just may handle my use-case. Is there a mailing list I could join to be notified when there's mobile clients?

Looks interesting, though I would definitely need Android/iOS clients before considering it. We migrated our small, private slack group to discord when slack changed their retention policy, though it's become less active since the

I wish we could use [nix]( https://nixery.dev/nix-1p.html ) for config files. It's nice, simple, and allows variables and functions. Jsonnet has a similar feature set, but I find it nigh unreadable.

Calorie is a frustrating unit. When talking about food or exercise, usually we use the kilocalorie but just call it a calorie. I assume the previous poster was using the small calorie. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
