Depends on the job. If a Pi 3 sized load then passive is fine. If you max out the hardware it will overheat and throttle though, unlike the Pi 3.

Terrible advice. A method perform one coherent action... if that action takes 1000 lines of code due to some wacky business logic, then the function should be 1000 lines, not split into multiple functions just for the sake of some weird rul
