Yeh, both viable solutions. Tbh, I can't think of any other reason to have JS in the HEAD.

For example, setting up event delegation on enhanced elements is best done in the HEAD before the elements load. If you setup all your user-event listeners in the bottom of BODY then your users will have a short time when they'll be interac

It's amazing how something so seemingly minor can make such a huge difference. I feel like I'm traversing the web of yesteryear (true yesteryear, not the animated gif'd web of 1997). Thanks for the link OP! One critique: The desaturation oc

Doesn't this necessitate lots of individual templates? (in this example: inputTemplate, labelTemplate...) Is there an easy way to manage this? From what I've seen it's typical to have one template per view (and possibly sub-views with sub-t

How would you design a regular expression syntax more intuitively? Personally, I find beauty and simplicity in regular expressions. Sure, they can grow to hideous atrocities, but you can achieve such disastrous feats with any language/synta

This doesn't solve the cross-element-boundary problem though. If a match starts in one element but ends in another this plugin doesn't seem to replace it at all.

I haven't tested it on IE8 tbh, but this solution doesn't actually use native DOM ranges.

To see a "degraded" view though, I would just disable JS. Isn't this viable?

I think the real issue here is a lack of graceful degradation on the Camper website. Built the right way, their fancy paper.js presentation thing would source whatever content it needs from within the page itself. The only excuse is lazines

At a glance, the only suggestion I disagree with is PHPjs ( http://phpjs.org/ ). Many of its functions are badly implemented. Examples: http://phpjs.org/functions/array_fill:314 (doesn't even return an Array type) http://phpjs.org/functi

The sentence from Google is a falsehood. It claims that the tracking is done for the user, and implies that this is their only intention. The actual truth is that Google only does what's "good" for the user as long as it improves their mark
