I haven't used the latest iteration of the AppleTV UI, but I did use the last version, and I found it to be pretty terrible. Any time text input was needed, it was a nightmare. I don't know if the new UI took care of that problem, but coupl

Are we forgetting the difference between free as in freedom and free as in $0? Isn't that what open source is all about. I would never make the argument that musicians shouldn't get payed and payed well for their work, but for the copyright

I'm dying to know the cash/stock split on this one. It will send signals about what a company like OMGPOP thinks of the social gaming space going forward. Considering they just spent 6 years working in the sector, what they think of Zynga's

Everyone seeks validation. Everyone is looking to justify their existence. It is the very essence of the human condition to find something we can point to and say "I have value because of X" All too often, X = Someone else's flaws. This is

I think this is too narrow a range to determine where bugs are in the process. Bugs in the application process can only really be rooted out by startups that apply and are successful. Startups that apply and fail could point to a bug in a n

I just want to point out that the amount of cash it takes to take a public company private is not equal to Shares * Market Price. It's actually Float Shares * Market Price. This doesn't make much of a difference in Apple's case, because mos

Well, here's a user story: You're Kanye West. Lots of other aspiring hip-hop artists want them to know about you because you're Kanye West. As a result, your regular inbox gets 250 emails a day from said hip-hop artists. So if you're Kanye

I tend to agree with you. I spend 5-10 minutes a day getting to Inbox 0. However, the target market seems to have this problem in spades. I don't know any wealthy or famous people who haven't complained about their inbox here or there.

When I read pieces like this, it reminds me there are many reasons for learning to code. Some learn just because the technology is interesting. This is a fine reason, but what's interesting today will not continue to be interesting tomorrow
