Yeah. Ads are what makes YouTube accessible to people who can't afford to pay for these kind of things. Hosting videos for free wouldn't be sustainable either.

Honestly, I don't think preventing ad blockers is abusive. Hosting videos for free is simply not sustainable. It does not work. We aren't entitled to getting everything on the internet for free.

You don't need a car in central stockholm. Poor people wouldn't even have a petrol car. Public transport is much cheaper and highly convenient.

The source you posted has had articles written about it because one person managed to skew it alone, since it's just based on some online survey. Crime in sweden has actually been decreasing overall. Murders have been increasing lately
